Bigger better faster

spega – over 10 years of expertise in room automation.

From temperature and pressure through humidity, light intensity and motion up to air quality and flow - S+S Regeltechnik stands for a complete spectrum of high-quality sensors and field devices for measuring, switching and control tasks in the sectors of building automation.

For more than 10 years, intelligent buildings have been spega passion. They recognised early on the importance of room automation for the energy efficiency, flexibility of use and ergonomics of commercial buildings. These requirements led to the creation of their room automation system e.control, which represents the most comprehensive and functional system of its kind today.
To protect their customers’ investments, they consciously rely only on open standards from the room automation and IT fields. In this way, e.control combines the best-in-class LON, BACnet, DALI, SMI and EnOcean technologies with the IP world to create a uniform room automation system with a unique functional range. Active participation in the relevant organisations is therefore a logical step for them.
And since they have been committed to the sustainability of buildings right from the beginning, it goes without saying that they are a member of the German Sustainable Building Council.
The system ranks as one of the most comprehensive and functional of its kind and also complies with the most stringent requirements of EN 15232 and VDI 3813.

Manchester MMU - Birley Fields

The academic building provides a superb learning and teaching environment for more than 6,000 students, including lecture theatres, specialist teaching accommodation and social learning areas. It will also be the location for around 500 academics, researchers, technical and support staff. The ground floor will be open to the public and facilities including a sports hall, performance spaces, treatment centres, cafes and informal meeting areas will be available for community bookings.

The campus's pioneering energy centre will be constructed using the most advanced technology and design. It will generate combined heat and power with bore holes providing natural, untreated water to heat and cool the buildings and supply the campus. All controlled by nearly 600 sensors provided by Slaney Direct.

Walkie-Talkie goes wireless!

London's infamous Walkie-Talkie building is now using the sun to its own advantage by installing solar powered temperature sensors with EnOcean wireless technology.
Slaney Direct have supplied room sensors which individuals can adjust to their own comfort conditions using GIRA switch programme in anthracite frames connected on a LON network.
