ISO/IEC 14543-3-10 – a new international wireless standard

ISO/IEC 14543-3-10 – a new international wireless standard

With ISO/IEC 14543-3-10 the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has ratified the EnOcean wireless protocol as an international standard. It is the first and only wireless standard for applications with ultra-low power consumption that is also optimized for energy harvesting solutions and therefore for EnOcean's self-powered wireless technology.

All wireless radio transmitters, signal receivers and radio signal actuators of S+S product lines KYMASGARD® are equipped with latest state-of-the-art EnOcean technology. This opens up cost-effective while aesthetic solutions for wireless application of our sensors and control technology – from building services technical equipment of vast production halls up to restoration of historical buildings.
Due to EnOcean technology, these devices have excellent bidirectional communication properties, providing an increased range of reach for room control operating units.
Externally, wireless radio signal receivers in the patented design of S+S enclosure series Frija are structurally identical with the basic units of the standard series, demonstrating a product range-spanning aesthetic appeal.
